My House I ~ The front
I'm staying in 70, Huntingdon Road, CB3 0HH, Cambridge, UK. This is a house with six bedrooms, 2 washrooms and 1 kitchen. There is also a backyard. It is 5 minutes cycling from town and is near to the college's administration. Take a glance of the area in front of my house.

University Library
This is the biggest library I've ever seen. With a collection of 5,567,505 books and 1,269,819 volumes of journals in 4 wings and 6 floors for each wings, you will never finish reading all the books here. The figures are updated at 31/7/2002. Imagine now! The social sciences' books are in the South Wing which consists of 3 floors (4th floor onward). Sitting all day by the corner of the library to read these books is such a pleasure because you can have all the books stacked by your side and I mean a variety of books. Unfortunately it opens only from 9am to 7pm and you can borrow only 10 books. UL is 5 minutes of cycling from my college and it is near to the Sidgwick's Prayer Room. So, I can stay all day long there, especially if I am fasting.

Faculty of Education, Unviersity of Cambridge
The Faculty of Education is one of the youngest faculty in Cambridge. It used to be just Homerton College before the new building was officially openned in June 2005. It is situated in Hills Road. There are pictures of some of my classmates and the lecturer.

Places to pray in Cambridge
There are around 3500 Muslims in Cambridge which is a small number compare to my country. There is only a mosque here in Cambridge which is in the Mawson Road. It is 10 minutes cycling from my faculty. Quite far away. And there is also a prayers room in the Addenbrooke's Hospital. It is also a 10-minute-cycling distance from my faculty.
The students here through ISOC (Islamic Society) put great efforts to set up some rooms to become prayers rooms. There is a prayer room in the town, in Mill Lane and a new prayer room at the Sidgwick Site.
The Mill Lane's prayer room is in the Baker Room, at 12 Mill Lane. It is in the nearest to the town and students always pray in this room because it is near to most of the faculties and departments in the town.
The Sidgwick Site's New Prayer Room has just been operated since the start of this term. It is bigger and more comfortable. It is near to the University Library (UL).
All these prayers rooms are quite a distance from my faculty. So, I always observe my prayers at my friend's house next to my faculty. Alhamdulillah. Thanks to Khairul and Kak Azura.

Kak Intan's College
Kita sorang2 kat sini

There are actually 31 colleges in Cambridge. I can't go to each college and take the pictures. If you are interested, you may go to http://www.cam.ac.uk/cambuniv/colleges.html to see all the pictures and information about these colleges in Cambridge. The designs vary as the era of the establishment of these colleges are not the same. The later they are built the more modern they look.

Trinity College
Trinity College was founded by Henry VIII in 1546 as part of the University of Cambridge. Since then Trinity has flourished and grown, and is now a home to around 600 undergraduates, 300 graduates, and over 160 Fellows.
I didn't take many pictures of this college because I have done it before.

Peterhouse
This is the first and the oldest college in Cambridge. It was founded in 1284 by Hugo de Balsham, Bishop of Ely. Peterhouse has approximately 250 undergraduates, 90 graduate students, and 45 fellows, making it the smallest College in the University of Cambridge, with the exception of a small number of Colleges where admission is restricted to graduates or mature students.

I really like this college because of the magnificient views and beautiful landscap. I'm sure what I've taken here are not as beautiful as what I've really seen with my own eyes.
Some more pictures of the college in Autum in my Cambridge.

Cars at night

Trying to capture the light of the cars at night. Not quite successful, but still love it. Wish that I have a camera stand so that it wouldn't get blurred.
